Mahjong Connect Deluxe

Mahjong Connect Deluxe asks you to find identical tiles and connect each pair through a clear route with no more than two turns. A visual match is only the start: other tiles can block the connection. Remove legal pairs to open passages and work towards clearing the board while watching the game's time display.

How to connect a pair

Select one tile, then its identical partner using the mouse or touch controls. Look for an unobstructed straight route first. If the tiles do not share a clear row or column, check an L-shaped route, then a route using two corners. A connection cannot pass through an occupied cell, and it does not need exactly two turns: zero or one can also be valid.

Make your removals useful

Start with pairs you can verify rather than guessing at crowded symbols. Removing tiles beside a narrow corridor can open connections elsewhere on the board. When several copies of a symbol are visible, consider which partners remain accessible before using the easiest pair. Recheck the layout after each removal because the empty routes have changed.

This is a connection puzzle, so do not apply the exposed-side rules of stacked mahjong solitaire automatically. Read the current board and count corners.
